Don't miss out! Only two weeks left to buy tickets to the DFF annual dinner

January 7, 2013 - This year's annual dinner looks to be a winner with a new family style service, the presentation of the Fly Fisher of the Year, The Don Payne, President's Club Service Award and everyone's favorite, the Incomplet Angler Award. The new slate of incoming officers and directors will be sworn in and the evening will wind up with a giant raffle and silent auction featuring at least six fly rods, two motorized float tubes, numerous guided trips and a long list of smaller prizes.

A major change will be that the dinners will be served family style with guests helping themselves from serving bowls brought to the tables. The fare, tri-tip, barbecued chicken quarters, green beans, salad, baked potato, wine and coffee or tea for the meat eaters and vegetarian lasagna for those that choose will fill the hungriest of stomachs.

The evening will end with Bill Laughlin's last efforts as the Delta Fly Fishers raffle chair and he has made a commitment to make this raffle one of his best. The total value of the products and services surpass the $4,000 mark, a spectacular end to Bill's career.

The dinner is scheduled for January 26th at the Eagle's Lodge, 1492 Bourbon Street, Stockton. The evening will start with a no-host bar and cocktail hour at 6pm, with dinner served at 7:30. Tickets are $35 for either the regular or vegetarian dinner.
