Our club helps sponsor local educators with the Salmon in the Classroom program. Salmon eggs are delivered to the classrooms along with all of the equipment needed to create the appropriate environment. The kids care for the salmon as they emerge and grow. Classes journey out to the Mokelumne to release their fry. Releases are scheduled for the end of March!

Delta Fly Fisherman joined an army of community members and educators to create a huge, hands on science and technology opportunity that was free to the public. Our group joined the watershed room to present a smell based salmon activity and a hands on fly tying. Participants young and old tried their hands at tying flies for fishing and for decoration. Fun was had by all!
