Blue gill, Crappie and Bass reside in the lake during summer. Walk along the banks and you can see school of blue gills. They hit just about anything you throw that attracts their attention. Look for debris gathering and cast near it. The dock area hold good sized bass in the summer. If you have a kayak, check out around the entrance to the lake near the boat launch.

Document your deeds!
Take a picture of yourself at 5 different locations within Stockton or Lodi city boundary with a fish you caught in each place. Post the picture on the DFF Facebook page with the hashtag #DFFLegendary with the place you caught it (#DFFLegendaryLodiLake, DFFLegendaryMickeGrove, etc.) . Once you have submitted 5 pictures from 5 different locations, you will receive a DFF Legendary Local Angler prize and be listed on this webpage as a legendary angler!
